Custom shipping solution - your own shipping solution using your shipping labels and partnered carriers
OPT OnDemand and partnered shipping providers offer a global drop-shipping solution for small packet or parcel consignments. Many partnered carriers enable us to use flexible pricing based on the package dimensions, weight, and destination country.
This solution is best suitable for Print On Demand services, we can print and ship from a single order. We cover printing shipping labels, custom clearance documents, and provide procurement information like consignment weight, dimensions, products HS code, and more.
Customs clearance & import tax
This article describes situations where the consignment is addressed to countries where customs or tax duties are imminent when importing goods. Since January 2021, this also applies to all consignments addressed to the UK.
OPT OnDemand acts as a fulfiller in this case and all customs payables must be deducted from the seller or the customer.
Delivery At Place method (DAP)
If a seller uses OPT OnDemand’s SKUs, we take care of the procurement parts of consignment’s information like HS code of products, or country of origin of the products. However, a seller must give us additional information as follows:
EORI identifier - Unique ID of the seller registered in destination country.
VAT number - Seller VAT number registered in destination country.
Price & currency of value of the single item within the consignment without VAT
EORI and VAT numbers are set once for the seller account. OPT OnDemand must obtain it from a seller. If you already sent them to us, you can ignore this sentence.
Delivery Duty Paid method (DDP)
DDP method is currently not supported by OPT OnDemand.
